Chess tournament for the kids of company employees

Simultaneous Chess Match with World Champion Assel Serikbai at Kazpetrol Group!

On November 26, a special chess tournament was held at our office for the children of Kazpetrol Group employees — a simultaneous game session with three-time world chess champion Assel Serikbai!

A total of 21 children aged 5 to 17 took part in the event. Before the game, they were given a tour of the office: they visited different departments, learned about what their parents do, and took photos at their parents’ workstations.

The tournament itself lasted about an hour and a half. The children approached the game very seriously, showing both excitement and deep focus. For many of them, this was a completely new and unforgettable experience.

After the match, the kids were invited to enjoy some delicious treats and tea.

We awarded three most resilient participants with special prizes:

– Nesipali Nurasyl (grandson of Ksenbay Bekbayev), who even won against the world champion – a proud moment!

– Nurlan Kuanish (nephew of Razia Kenzhebekova),

– Marat Arsen (son of Erzhan Zhubatkanov).

We also presented a gift to the youngest participant — 5-year-old Nurbolat Rayana – daughter of Eldar Demesinov.

Both the parents and children expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the event, and a lovely photo session with the world champion capped off the day.

It was truly a joy for us to see the smiles and excitement on the children’s faces!
