We should pay special attention to ensure energy security, improving competitiveness through energy and resource conservation, energy efficiency and the environment”.

Batyrzhan Sabyrbekuly Daulet shared his impressions from this event:

"The meeting of the World Petroleum Council (VNS) was multifaceted, the keynote was Investments, which are one of the main sources of access to technology, capital, management competencies and export markets. As we know, the “Code on Subsoil and Subsoil Use” was introduced in June in Kazakhstan. This was done in order to improve the investment climate in the country, as well as to simplify administrative processes and this document is of great importance for exploration drilling segment.

Gender issues and problems of introducing renewable energy sources in Central Asia were discussed. The meeting focused on the empowerment of women to participate in energy management, as well as in employment opportunities and career development.

The issues of young specialists in the oil sector were discussed as well, due to the upcoming 6th Youth Forum of the Supreme National Council in St. Petersburg (Russia), June 23-28, 2019. This Forum will be a powerful platform for experience exchange opportunities, the latest information and advanced achievements of the oil and gas industry.

I believe that this event is really useful for our young KZPG specialists, whom we consider as the Company's future, who are capable not only withstand the challenge of frequent crises, but also skillful to get done their innovative ideas in the sphere of oil that were born at Kumkol".

The World Petroleum Council (WPC) was organized in 1933 and today has 70 member countries. Being a non-profit and non-political organization, the WPC has a charitable status in the UK and is accredited to the UN. The main goal of the organization is “to promote the management of world oil resources for the benefit of the Universe”
