Company tournament

We successfully held the company’s fifth anniversary tournament in May 2024. The winners have been determined and the prize-winners have been awarded!

I remember the first tournament in 2019, when the table tennis tournament was held in the GR&PR office, volleyball and football were held in rented halls in the city. The prizes were purely symbolic - a water mug and medals were not branded.

In the first year there were tournaments in 4 sports and then, every year other sports were added. Today we have a sports competition in seven sports and the main games are held in the rotational camp.

The main goal of this event is to strengthen team spirit, strengthen the “common touch,” and develop corporate culture. We can confidently say that all goals for today have been achieved: every year our employees look forward to this event and prepare seriously. If in the early years one could see minor aggression among the participants, today this is an event that gives us the opportunity to spend quality time with colleagues, get a lot of positive emotions and become closer to each other.

Another feature of this sports competition was that our directors from Almaty, Aliya Abish and Zhanara Nurgalieva, came specially for this event and took an active part in the award ceremony.

“This year I was able to take part in the organization and preparation for the fifth anniversary tournament of the company. The tournament was kicked off with billiards, which requires concentration and precision of movements. Despite this, and the serious mood for the game, the mood of the participants was in a positive tone. There was bowling among the girls. Although the game took place without the presence of a huge number of fans, the competitors encouraged each other, were sincerely happy about the “strikes” and sympathized with the misses.

The most vivid and real emotions were transferred to the company's Contract Territory, where tournaments in athletics among girls, chess, table tennis, football and volleyball were held. Competition, along with excitement, gave the tournament a special spirit.

I would like to note that these types of competitions are not only useful for physical activity, but also for maintaining cohesion and understanding of the team.”

"As part of corporate sports competitions, a tournament was held among our company’s employees. I took part in a chess tournament, where more than 10 people competed for the title of the best chess player among our colleagues. I took an honorable 3rd place.

I believe that all participants in the tournament showed a high level of preparation and professionalism, and all the tournaments were exciting and interesting. After fierce and intriguing fights, the winners were determined.

Even after the end of the competition, for several days, colleagues discussed the past sports and athletics competition among themselves, shared their impressions and memorable moments.

It’s no secret that sport brings positive emotions and discipline into a person’s life, strengthens the body, improves muscle memory and coordination.
