Gas Station Complex “Compass”

On December 5, 2018, the Gas station Compass was opened in Almaty (East Bypass, below the Tole Bi road junction).

This is the second Gas Station in Almaty and the third in the Almaty region.

The brand “Compass” is developed in Kazakhstan and is another successfully developing division of the International Holding Kusto Group.

Compass is a European-format gas station that combines the Express Market – a supermarket, gifts, books for children, creative post cards, coffee, tea, desserts, Burger King, Wi-fi, and a multi-fuel filling station, including electric vehicles, with 50 parking slots.

International companies took part in the creation of the complex – the German company WANZL developed and produced trade equipment, the Belarusian company VDS created the architecture of the complex, the LP-group company equipped the gas station with the latest Fuel-Distribution Columns (FDC) Gilbarco. It is operated by a gas station system Retalix StorePoint, developed by Retalix® Ltd (Israel).

The first Gas station was launched in 2014. Today, gas stations are successfully operating in Astana (2), Almaty (3) and Aktobe (4), employing more than 400 people. There is an ambitious plan to open up to 50 similar Gas stations throughout Kazakhstan.

Karsybekov Orazkhan Kairzhanovich, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KAZPETROL GROUP, made a welcoming speech on behalf of the shareholders at the opening ceremony.

Kildiyarov Anvar Ramazanovich, Director of LLP “New Gas Station”, Alexey Belov, Deputy Director of LLP “New Gas Station”, and representatives of partner companies: “Verny Capital” and VDS also took part in the ceremony.
